We're excited to share that Reno has partnered with Rehome to help make buying an ex-display kitchen simpler, clearer and less nerve-wracking!
Rehome is a marketplace for ex-display kitchens, helping showroom kitchens find a second life in real homes instead of going to waste.
It is a brilliant idea. But buying an ex-display kitchen comes with one very obvious question: will it actually fit?

Helping customers answer the "will it fit?" question
Together with Rehome, we've created a tailored version of our whitelabel solution that lets customers open a specific ex-display kitchen listing and test how it could work in their own home.
Customers can add their room measurements, map out key features like doors and windows, and reposition kitchen units to explore realistic layout options before committing to buy.
For anyone who has ever tried to work out whether a kitchen fit from photos, measurements and a bit of imagination, this is a big step forward!
Supporting more sustainable kitchen buying
Ex-display kitchens are fantastic value for money, but it's not the same as buying a new kitchen. You are usually starting with an existing display that was designed for a showroom, so you need to work out if the units, worktops, appliances and features actually fit or can be reconfigured.
Helping more people buy ex-display kitchens confidently means more kitchens reused, more value recovered for retailers, and fewer perfectly good products going to waste.
What this means for Reno
Rehome is a brilliant partner to demonstrate how simple digital planning tools can help people make great decisions for themselves and the environment, especially for high-consideration purchases in the home renovation journey. By using our whitelabel solution for the ex-display market, we're empowering customers to understand exactly how a kitchen could work in their home, enabling them to feel confident about their purchase whilst removing friction from the retail sales experience.
This partnership is an exciting example of how Reno can support not just homeowners planning their own renovations, but retailers and marketplaces too.
Whether someone is planning a bathroom, testing a kitchen layout, building a brief for trades or checking whether an ex-display product will work in their space, the underlying problem is the same: people need a clearer way to understand the room before they commit!
